WTIU/TMCC-Legacy Command Cable

The WTIU/TMCC-Legacy Connector Cable is used to connect the DCS WiFi Track Interface Unit (WTIU) to the Lionel Command Base, Lionel Legacy Command Base, or the Lionel Base 3 Command Base for users wishing to use the DCS System to run TMCC and/or Legacy equipped locomotives.

If using DCS to control Lionel locomotives in command mode with the Legacy Command Base, the user will also need the Lionel SER2 and PDI Cable.

If using DCS to control Lionel locomotives in command mode with the Lionel Base3 Command Base, users can use the WTIU/TMCC-Legacy Connector Cable and the Lionel SER2 and PDI cable or simply use a USB-A to USB-C cable.

When connected, the DCS Remote will control all Legacy-equipped locomotives in command mode but there is no access to Legacy-specific features (ie; quillable whistle). All normal TMCC features can be accessed with DCS 4.0 and later models.
